A team of doctors from the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Medical Research Center of Radiology" of the Russian Ministry of Health arrived in the Khabarovsk Territory to help in the fight against coronavirus

On behalf of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation M.A. Murashko, a team of 10 specialists from the National Medical Research Center of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of Russia has been sent to the Khabarovsk Territory, which needs help in the fight against coronavirus infection COVID-19. The first flights arrived in Khabarovsk on July 26, 2020.
 
According to the Director General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "NMRC of Radiology" of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. Caprina, the Center has provided assistance to the regions from the very beginning of the epidemic. “We held meetings, telemedicine consultations, collected expert advice, including with international participation, in order not only to evaluate the experience in organizing care for cancer patients in new conditions, but also to develop really effective solutions for providing timely, and most importantly, full-fledged assistance to our patients. ", - emphasized A.D. Caprin.
 
In March 2020, one of the centers of the Center - Research Institute of Urology and Interventional Radiology named after N.A. Lopatkin was redesigned as an infectious diseases department to provide care to patients with a new coronavirus infection. Medical care here was provided by 200 specialists - a professional multidisciplinary team who worked in the foci of various diseases. After reducing the number of new cases of COVID-19, which are registered per day in Moscow, the Research Institute of Urology began to return to planned work. Having gained invaluable experience in the most difficult months of the pandemic, infectious disease specialists, resuscitators, and oncologists of the highest level, who have worked with patients with oncological and urological history, are now ready to help their colleagues.
 
Doctors will spend about two weeks in the Khabarovsk Territory, depending on the epidemiological situation in the region.
